Originally concocted in 1976, Gardenia is a feminine classic from Penhaligon’s that has earned its place in the enviable Anthology Collection. It is a delightful fragrance that opens with the notes of gardenia, tuberose, jasmine, ylang-ylang, spice and vanilla. The middle is dominated by a mixture of violet, rhubarb, bergamot, hyacinth, magnolia, green leaves, rose, orange blossom, clove, cinnamon, and lily of the valley. The aromatic journey ends with warm notes of benzoin, vanilla, sandalwood and musk.
