Espirit Du Roi was first made in the year 1983 as a masculine fragrance with dominating notes of woods and foliage. The stunning fragrance was relaunched in 2009 as part of The Anthology Collection which included classics from Penhaligon’s such as Night Scented Stock, Eau De Verveine, Extract of Limes, and Orange Blossom etc. Espirit Du Roi was one of the fragrances that completed the collection

• Top notes are Citrus Accord, Bergamot, Mandarin, Cedrat, Mint, Tomato Leaf, Davana Essence, Aldehydes, Cardamom Absolute
• Middle notes are Clove, Egyptian Geranium, Madagascan Ylang Ylang, Jasmine, and Honeysuckle
• Base notes are Vetiver, Cedar, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Raspberry Absolute, White Musk, Ambergris, Oakmoss, and Africa Stone.
